Merchandise Pricing Coordinator - Hybrid

The Merchandise Pricing Coordinator is an entry-level professional role that provides an opportunity to launch a career in Merchandising or Supply Chain at Pet Supplies Plus. The Merchandise Pricing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the data integrity of distributor pricing, vendor product information & distribution adjustments within the system.  This detail-oriented role will allow you to learn the retail basics while you assist Merchandising and Supply Chain in our fun and fast-paced pet supply industry. As a member of the Merchandising Services team, you will be exposed to many learning experiences as we interact directly with all areas of the business such as Distributors, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The Merchandise Pricing Coordinator will provide support to the Merchandising Team in the areas of pricing updates, catalog maintenance, and system management. Responsibilities include:

• Daily management of external distributor information catalogs.
• Gathering, sorting, prioritizing, and ensuring data accuracy for computer entry.
• Manage requests and computer entry for external distribution coverage adjustments.
• Process and maintain weekly reports and loyalty programs.
• Support the Stores and Merchandising teams with creating discounts and markdowns for computer entry.
• Assist teams in special projects and other tasks as assigned.

PAWsome Merchandise Pricing Coordinator candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent computer/data entry experience.
• Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficient in basic retail math and problem solving.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Willingness to learn and support the team.
