IT Internship (Monday - Thursday in office)

We are hiring a summer IT Intern to work in our corporate IT department at our headquarters in Livonia, MI that we call Pet Central. You will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals and leaders of the organization helping to solve problems and add immediate value.  The position requires 32 hours per week Monday – Thursday in office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the broader team with reporting, questions, and requests
• Assist leadership with projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Working toward a Bachelors’ degree or Master's degree in relevant discipline
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired
• Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as a keen attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong commitment to excellent customer service
• Confident in proactive verbal and written communication
• Proficient with learning various software, Microsoft Office applications and standard office equipment
