Marketing Technology Internship- Web Developer-NRMVue Project (Hybrid Role)

We are seeking a Web Developer Intern to assist in the development and improvement of a web-based suite of tools that we use to run our business. Recent and ongoing changes to our data ecosystem are creating opportunities to streamline these tools and enhance the offerings. Time permitting, we may even consider a full rebuild of the application to leverage features within the latest Vue.js framework.

This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern web development, improve technical skills, and work on impactful projects in a real-world business environment.  This Intern will work 32 hours per week Monday - Thursday in office at our headquartes in Livonia Michigan with remote work available on Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on bug fixes and optimizations within the existing application.
• Assist in reducing and refining the application's scope to align with changes within the business.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve inefficiencies in the current codebase.
• If feasible, contribute to the complete rebuild using the latest Vue.js framework.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations to ensure seamless data communication.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Vue.js (or strong JavaScript skills with a willingness to learn Vue).
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for front-end development.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating back-end services with front-end applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
