IT Infrastructure Manager

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a hands-on and strategic IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-wide infrastructure. This role is critical to supporting our retail, distribution, and corporate environments, and plays a key part in our technology roadmap. If you're passionate about technology—and pets—this is the place for you!  This position will be hybrid with 3 days in the office (M-W).

The Infrastructure Manager key responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a small team managing infrastructure, networking, and desktop environments
• Design and support hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure), virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), and enterprise monitoring
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware including firewalls, switches, and wireless systems across all locations
• Ensure high availability and performance of server applications and network systems
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain a secure and compliant environment
• Provide advanced system administration and operational support for Windows-based workloads in both cloud and on-premises environments
• Implement enterprise monitoring and capacity planning tools
• Manage vendor relationships and escalate support issues as needed
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution
• Have experience with patch management for Windows and 3^rd party applications
• Support and guide junior team members in technical development

PAWsome Infrastructure Manager candidates will have:

• 5+ years of experience in network/server administration in a multi-site enterprise environment
• Strong hands-on experience with virtualization (Nutanix or VMWare ESX) , Microsoft server technologies, Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS/DHCP, security and  networking
• Advanced knowledge of switching, and firewall technologies
• Experience with backup and restore solutions
• Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and manage cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional evening/weekend work
