IT Systems Coordinator

The IT Systems Coordinator, reporting to the Information Technology Manager, is a key role on the Pet Supplies Plus support team.  The IT Systems Coordinator will ensure proper computer operation so that the company’s end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes setting up personal computers, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and maintaining network connectivity to applications and internet.

The IT Systems Coordinator key responsibilities include:

• Deliver technical support for business operations
• Instruct end users on new computer hardware and software systems
• Diagnose and resolve IT issues both onsite and remotely
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot:
  • PC and laptop hardware and software
  • Network devices
  • RF guns, scanners, tablets, and wireless access points
  • Video surveillance and access control systems
  • Physical and virtual servers
  • MS-365 email and SharePoint accounts
  • Printers
• Liaise with vendors regarding equipment repairs and installations
• Support corporate IT teams with remote troubleshooting efforts
• Deploy desktop images and oversee application software management
• Maintain inventory records and request required equipment
• Configure end-user devices in accordance with company standards
• Manage user account access and permissions
• Relocate moderately heavy equipment as necessary

PAWsome IT Systems Coordinator candidates will have these qualifications:

• 2+ year’s work experience providing Level1/Level2 IT Support for end-user requests and issues.
• Working knowledge of PC and desktop hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows).
• Working knowledge of MS-365.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure skills and concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Polite and friendly demeanor as well as a passion for helping others.
