Graphic Design Specialist (Hybrid Role M-W in office)

PSP Group, LLC (Pet Supplies Plus & Wag N Wash brands) are seeking an enthusiastic in-house graphic design specialist to bring our monthly promotions to life for both our Pet Supplies Plus and Wag N Wash brands. We need a production-focused designer with a keen eye for detail to ensure that the layout and design aligns with our brand standards. The successful candidate will have experience with both print and digital design, a positive attitude and a passion for creating designs that will enhance the brands and engage our neighbors.

The Graphic Designer key responsibilities include:

Under the direction of our Creative Manager, you will complete designs that exhibit your mastery of the fundamentals for good print and digital design and commitment to consistently exceed expectations.

• Print design: Your strong layout skills will help bring our monthly promotions to life utilizing established design templates to create collateral for the circular/shared mail program and in-store signage.
• Digital design: Working within existing brand guidelines, you’ll version out digital assets for our website, digital marketing and social media channels.
• Production work: You’ll put your pre-press knowledge to use to get the promotional mailers to print and optimize digital assets for their respective channels.
• Be a part of the team: We’re an enthusiastic team who wear a lot of hats. A desire to learn new software and keep up with current design trends is a must.
• Project Management: You’ll work independently to deliver projects in a timely manner and thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment, balancing tight deadlines with great design.

PAWsome Graphic Designer candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
• 1+ years of print and digital design experience within an in-house corporate environment
• Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop
• Microsoft Programs/Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot)
• Keen attention to detail to complete all designs according to spec and a compelling need to spellcheck, proofread and edit all work
• Familiarity with print production including building final files for output
• Exceptional project management skills including prioritization of work and time management
• Excellent work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to correspond with internal team and external vendors
