Marketing Data Engineer (Hybrid Role M-W in office)

Our Marketing Data Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the systems and processes that keep our shelves stocked, our stores running, and our customers happy. This role is based out of Livonia MI and will work a hybrid schedule Monday through Wednesday in office.

We’re looking for a Marketing Data Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server to help build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our day-to-day retail operations. This role is focused on enabling core business functions by ensuring the right data is available, reliable, and integrated across systems. You’ll work closely with IT, merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to deliver data solutions that support real-time decision-making and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server
• Develop and optimize tables, views, stored procedures, and functions to support business operations and reporting
• Integrate data from multiple sources (POS, ERP, e-commerce) to support store operations and marketing efforts
• Integrate data from multiple sources (POS, ERP, CRM, e-commerce) to support store operations and supply chain processes
• Support data governance, documentation, and compliance efforts across the system

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or database development
• Strong command of Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience working with retail data (POS, inventory, customer data) is highly preferred
• Bonus: Experience working with Salesforce Data Cloud or Customer Data Platforms (CDPs)
• Bonus: Experience with scripting languages like Python or C#
