Training Specialist (Hybrid Role M-W in office)

• Designing clear and effective computer-based/web-based, self-study and instructor-led course materials for store and corporate training programs.
• Demonstrating facilitation skills to diverse audiences with varying needs.
• Developing and delivering content leveraging knowledge of the e-learning process and design methodologies.
• Effectively collaborating with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and Store Operations to develop topical information into a final product.
• Developing and updating course content.
• Coordinating with all parties to ensure successful, on-time delivery of training programs.
• Overseeing and maintaining training requirements, records and training schedules as needed.
• Coordinating training events and associated details – location, logistics, set-up, materials, training aids and program evaluations.
• Leading the scheduling and tracking of all training, including merchandise and product training implementation.
• Owning and overseeing training administration and reporting.
• Performing miscellaneous duties and requirements related to training, development, operations, and communication.

PAWsome Training Specialist candidates will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• 2+ years’ experience in developing training-related content preferably in a retail or customer service environment.

• Base knowledge or experience with learning management systems and other methods for learning resource distribution.

• Knowledge of curriculum/course development, adult learning practices, and evaluation principles.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving and customer interaction skills.
• Experience developing online learning (computer/web-based training).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent skills with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power-Point, Outlook, Copilot AI) and eLearning/instructional design software (Articulate, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).

• Strong customer service orientation.

• The ability to think outside the box and adapt to always evolving learner needs
