The Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager is part of a newly formed external reporting team which is responsible for the preparation and review of Franchise Group, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: FRG) quarterly and annual financial statements (10-Q’s and 10-K) as well as the oversight of technical accounting matters across Franchise Group’s portfolio of companies.
This role will be based in Livonia, MI, report to the Corporate Controller and be part of the Pet Supplies Plus (a Franchise Group, Inc. Company) Finance team of 40 individuals. Pet Supplies Plus (PSP) is the largest independent pet retailer and leading franchise pet concept in the U.S., and its Finance team manages both Pet Supplies Plus business as well as the accounting and SEC reporting for Franchise Group, Inc.
The Accounting & SEC Reporting Manager key responsibilities include:
Leading the Franchise Group’s internal and external reporting function (50%)
Acting as technical accounting resource for The Franchise Group and its subsidiaries (25%)
Assisting the broader PSP Finance team with reporting and analysis (25%)
